Report Decision Rating

Kroll's (formerly InfoLink Screening Services') Report Decision Rating (RDR) service assists you with the evaluation of the results of the background screening process. We will help you develop a formal set of criteria that guide your staff through the hiring decision process when considering the background screening results. We will then use your criteria to determine a decision rating for each type of background screening service completed, which leads to a cumulative decision rating for each report. Reports that "Pass" your criteria are marked green and reports that "Fail" are marked red. You simply need to review the reports marked yellow, indicating that they contain results that you want to "Review" further.

Report Decision Rating:

  • Helps you create a coordinated background screening program and ensures that all decision makers throughout your organization will make consistent hiring decisions.
  • Provides an overall decision rating for each report that is the equivalent of "Pass" or "Fail" or "Review". Reports that "Pass" your criteria are marked green, reports that "Fail" are marked red, and reports that you want to "Review" are marked yellow.
  • Reduces the amount of time you spend reviewing background screening results by eliminating the need for you to review the details of background screening reports that pass your criteria.
  • Allows you to simply review the reports marked yellow for “Review” or red for “Fail”. Although you should review red results to make sure the decision meets EEOC requirements, hire or no-hire decisions should still be more quickly reached for these reports.
  • Streamlines your background screening process and enables you to update your RDR criteria to constantly improve the effectiveness of your program.
