temporary staffing industry, has announced a strategic alliance with InfoLink Screening

 

Services, Inc.  InfoLink is a major provider of online background screening and drug

 

testing for job applicants and employees.  The alliance addresses two key trends.  First,

 

both companies offer their clientele the increased speed and convenience on Internet-

 

based services.  Second, employers are recognizing they share co-liability with staffing

 

firms for the actions of temporary employees and are requiring those temps to pass

 

screening qualifications equivalent to permanent hires.  The alliance will enable staffing

 

firms to set up specific screening requirements by customer, fulfilling those automatically

background screening without special software requirements.  InfoLink clients use HIRE

 

to request background searches, view reports in progress and view completed reports. 

 

InfoLink’s site also offers a data warehousing function which clients may use to print

 

reports anytime or to store reports on InfoLink's secure Web site, thus saving file space.
